Is that even possible? Here are the perks:
- The weather is fantastic. Cool nights, warm days.
- The beach is stunning and there are dolphins quite close
- People are super kind
- We have a great group of friends
- The girls LOVE school
- The food is wonderful
- The yoga shala that I teach at is on a hill above the ocean and I teach to the sound of the ocean

Hi Lauren and family, we are off on our travels next year, with kids and want to hang out in Goa for a while. My husband and I are old Goa hands. My only worry, antimalarials for the kids..are you giving them to your kids or taking the chance? We did 3 months with no antimalarials, but the kids worry me. What are your feelings? Glad I found your blog, subscribed!
ReplyDeleteHi Alyson.
DeleteNo anti malarials. Goa is not in a malaria zone. We brought a HUGE bag and have not touched them once. See this map http://www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk/destinations/asia-(east)/india/india-malaria-map.aspx. We have not met anyone here who takes them and have not met anyone who has gotten malaria. We do not feel at risk at all. We plan to be here for 3 months....
Let me know if you have other questions.
-Lauren
